I just wrote 8 blogs. I am so writing a blog everyday from now on. Christmas just makes people so busy. It was good that I got enough sleep today, my mom says I slept for 13 hours last night, which may be true. Today I finally finished my book. I have finally finished the Great Book of Amber. And I am so depressed. Apparently when I was still at Michelle's house, she told me that the author Roger Zelezny died before he could truly finish the series. I mean after reading the ending, I felt like it was really incomplete. I could feel that there were more to everything that was going on and there could be--would be so much more stories to tell. But the author is gone and I don't think anyone could replicate his unique and timeless style. That would mean that the story never really ended, and I hate to see it that way. I am okay with a bad book series that is complete. But a good book especially a series that had no sequel? That is utterly unbelievable. Yet I can't do anything about it. For example I read this book called Echo that I got from the school library. I could not find the sequel anywhere. I checked in VPL, I even checked in the second largest book store in North America, I checked on ebay and what not. The book simply does not exist. And it is sad because it was such a good story and the author didn't even come close to ending it. It felt like the first book of a series and everything is just started to pop and crackle when it all ends. With no explanation, no nothing. It is understandable if an author produces an unsatisfactory ending to a book or series, at least you know where the author would have gone with the whole story. But with no real ending from the original author, it leaves the story hanging on a thread, and most people don't want to continue writing a story that is not their's.
I hope someone might take a shot at writing more for The Great Book of Amber. I think I will reread some of my favourite parts when I have time. It just fells so sad, because I know the ending is not the ending, and there will probably never be an real ending...
Oh, and writing nine blogs in a day is really tiring, considering all the things you have to re encounter. I can remember most of my week except for some times during my sleep over. I think I was so tired that I couldn't think straight or remember properly... I totally want to do an all-nighter again... But now I am going to my comfy bed, in which I shall slumber into the New Year.
Happy New Year everyone. And I wish you all the best!

NEED TO SLEEP
So I am still at Michelle's house and we all got up around 11 after having 3 hours of sleep. We were going to do an all-nighter, but I think that was the closest we could get. So we cleared our heads and had a little breakfast of waffles. Then we played more board games, we played Clue. Michelle got an really good guess and she got the answer! I love board games, have I ever mentioned that? Then we played Scrabble. We used to have a Scrabble at home but then I couldn't find it... Apparently most people play Scrabble with a dictionary, I haven't ever tried it before. But then the game started to get really heated because everyone (except for Carmen) was looking in the dictionary. Every time we needed to move and place a word we would always look deeply in the dictionary. It took a long time to finish the game but we finally did. Then we ate a short lunch in which we ate noodles and soup which was delicious. Then Michelle's mom dropped us home and I decided that I shouldn't sleep until night time. SO I read my book, which successfully kept me awake until 9. Then I simply had to sleep. I wasn't prepare to live for 2 days on 3 hours of sleep!
Crazy Sleep Over!!!!
OMG! I couldn't sleep well last night because I was too excited for today. Today I am going on a sleepover with my BFFs. It's not like I have never had a sleepover with them, they are the only people I have sleep over's with. I haven't had a sleep over for a while, and this time is a Christmas sleepover and we are exchanging gifts.
So we met at Metrotown and Michelle's mom picked us up there. We went to eat Anton's pasta for lunch. Narae said that the pasta was really good there so we went and tried it out. I have eaten at restaurants that serves a lot of food, but when I eat here I just can't seem to finish my plate! I usually finish my food, and I eat three bowls of rice for dinner, but I couldn't finish the pasta. I think it is because pasta is more filling than rice?
Then we went to Michelle's house. Michelle lives far away, somewhere beside UBC. Then the fun begins. Well, first me and Narae played on my ipad, while Michelle and Carmen played Neo pets. Neo pets right?! And then--my favourite, monopoly!!! I LOVE monopoly! But Michelle's version was better, it was Dogopoly! And I managed to buy the Siberian Husky! Then after that... After that I can't remember what we did... I think we had dinner or something, or maybe played more computers. Any ways we then ate dinner which was pizza. Michelle's brother works at Dominos so they always eat pizza. After dinner Michelle set up the Wii, and Narae started playing Zelda Skyward sword. Right I remembered! We exchanged gifts before that and I got Zelda Skyward sword and a Wii motion plus remote. You need the remote to play the game and I got it together! YAY. Then... I just can't remember clearly sometimes, we just talked a lot and then played random stuff. Time passes so fast when you are with good friends. Soon it was already 10 and then 12. We were switching with the Zelda game. Oh! And cards! We played cards such as big 2 and go fish. Then we played Uno, which is epic, and then speed. I really like speed, but by that time I was already very sleepy. We made a pact to not sleep all day, we are going to do a all-nighter. At around 3 or 4 I think we went back to playing board games. We played risk, it was my first time playing but I got the hang of it soon. Risk is really fun, on the first round I could not complete my secret missions, but then on the second round we were playing protect the base and I did pretty well. I had my base protected and then took hold of another separate continent. The problem was I wouldn't attack my friends because they were my friends. I could have attack everyone because I had two continents but I wouldn't because I felt guilty for it... So in the end we ended the game without achieving anything because I couldn't attack anyone. It was already the next day by then I think we stopped playing at around 7 o'clock. Then we were so beat it took everything to stay awake. Then later we finally fell asleep at around 8. And then We got up at 11, but that would be the next day.

Back Home Again
Car ride back home was the same as going to Portland. Boring as ever. We were following the other family's car because they had a GPS. The other family drove sooooo slow. My cousin was driving, and I could feel her urge to just step on the petal. I was sitting in the front seat and I actually wanted to step on the petal too.
We got separated though because they were hidden by some other cars in front of us and they got off a random exit to get gas. We were behind them and didn't see them go off, when we saw them again it was already too late so we just kept going. However we did go off on the next exit but we never found them again. Now we were free to drive as fast as we want, and we got home much earlier. But instead of going home when we were back in Vancouver we went to Crystal Mall for dinner and some other errands my cousin needed to run. And that was my trip to Portland... I remember how I really like the trams and the brick streets of Portland. When I was there I kept remembering how Bella Swan from Twilight was almost kidnapped in Portland but was saved by Edward. That has nothing to do with Portland itself of course. Portland looked really clean and British style. I think I like it better than Seattle, I really do hope. I really do hope that I could go back to that book store again. I saw some books on sale and it was only around 5 US and there was no tax! Amazing!

Second Largest Book Store
Today we first went to this mall beside our hotel in Portland, I got a locket there. I really like stuff that looks old, and I have always wanted a locket.
The main event of the day for me was going to the second largest book store in the North America. It reminded me of Barron's Books and Baubles from this book I read. It was huge and had many sections. The whole book store was on both sides of the street and contained countless new and used books. It was divided in colors. For example the teen adn kids section was the Pink Room, while the science fiction section was the Gold Room. The main entrance and cashier was the Green Room. There is also the Red Room, the White Room, the Orange Room, and many more other rooms. The main book part of the book store had many levels, but I only explored the first 2. I mostly wandered around the teens section, seeing the books I have read and also looking for the Fever Series. I could not find that book series in the library, however I already read it online so I don't need to buy it. I was simply curious of how the real book looked like. It is quite different to read a real book and to read it online. I myself prefer reading real books, but sometimes reading online (especially if you have an ipad) is much more simple.
I also went to the science fiction section where I found many more copies of The Great Book of Amber. I found it strangely comforting to see that the book was one of the books that was recommended to read. After the excitement of being around so many familiar and unfamiliar books died down I started getting a minor headache. Have you ever had the feeling when you are surrounded by something (books in my case) and it was so intimidating and endless because there was just so many of them? Just seeing so many books was socking and amazing at the same time. My dream is to have my own personal library, but it could never be as big as this book store. So many books I have never read, I feel sad because I know I will never be able to read all of them...
We had dinner at the buffet in the Hilton hotel. If you ever go there, I suggest you not to eat the buffet at the restaurant. They really didn't have much to offer. I think it would have been better to order stuff instead of eating the buffet. After that we went to Macy to shop again. I couldn't believe it when the whole place closed at 8:00. So early!

Shopping in Portland
So I am still in Portland and this is the second day. We are going to this great big shopping mall called Woodburn outlet or something like that.
Honestly I thought that it was the same as the outlet in 202. It was bigger and had more stores, but that was all. I didn't get anything much because I didn't need much. All I wanted for Christmas this year was another pair of boots. I have a thing for shoes. I totally love them, and right now I really like wearing boots because they are just so warm. I looked at a lot of boots but they were all really...normal. Nothing really special came up until this store called Journey. There were so many shoes there. The store seemed really trendy and I got a pair of boots that looked similar to an ug. My cousin Sammi was with me and she said the boots were really nice, and really fit me. She also said that my taste for boots are the same as a 30 year olds', which I totally didn't believe.
Later on we also went to this place called the something Fry. It sold electronic, I got a clear screen protector for my ipad there.
Nothing much to buy in America actually, but my auntie got a lot of stuff for herself and some for her friends. It is just because they don't have tax in America, that is why it is so cheap to buy all the expensive stuff.

Drive to Portland
Today I got up all early and we began our trip to Portland.
My auntie, my cousin, my mom, my brother and me were going. We drove there and had lunch in a buffet at 202. It was a long ride and I had nothing to do. I did bring my ipad but I didn't play it because I get dizzy. My brother didn't seem to have the same problems so he played it. We we got to Portland it was getting dark. We were staying at the Hilton hotel there, and they didn't have any free internet. You could only go on the Internet when you were in the lobby, and I didn't bother. The family that were going with us was my uncle's brother. My auntie knew him for a long time. They have boy who was going to grade two and a small baby. The older boy's name is William and her and my brother got along pretty well.
That night we decided to go swimming. Me and my cousin couldn't swim because of our healing colds, but we went along any ways. Apparently there were 2 swimming pools in two separate buildings that both belonged to the Hilton hotel. The one in our own building was closed because it was Christmas, but the one in the other one was still open. We asked for robes and some of us changed into the robes with their swim suit underneath. So we went out into the street and looked for the other building. It was supposed to be across the street but we did not find it immediately. The scene before me made me laugh so hard that day. 3 ladies in robes walking across the street in Portland going into a bank and asking if it was the Hilton swimming pool. It was so FUNNY! LOL! I couldn't stop laughing because it was funny and bizarre at the same time. I wasn't the one wearing robes, but I did feel kind of embarrassed...
There was nothing more that happened that day. I brought along The Great Book of Amber and read it before I went to bed. It was keeping me hyper and somehow being hyper helped me sleep...

Christmas Wrapping
Wow. I didn't notice but today is the 24th of December, which is Christmas Eve! My family never really celebrated Chrastmas, but this year we just didn't do much. I have a bunch of Christmas wrapping to do... I made this creative card for my cousin Sammi. I got my mom Purdy's chocolates. I made Sissi a white rose (she has a thing for white roses!). I made a feather fan for my auntie, but I am not sure I should give it to her because I was never sure what she could possibly do with a fan... I made my brother a red stocking in textiles class. I didn't really want to sew a whole big sock together. And I also got my friends presents. We were going to Portland on the 25th (which is tomorrow), and right after we come back I have this sleep over with my friends. I got Michelle and Narae Clockwork Prince (they wanted it and I want them to read it so I can talk to them about it without spoiling it), and Carmen a cute cup and I also made a black and red rose for her too. I got them each a big gold key thing, I think it was supposed to be a Christmas ornament.
I am having so much fun wrapping stuff and writing little cards and stuff. I wrote "the key is the key is the key is the key is the key is they key is the key." on Narae's card. I told my cousin this and she said she was really disappointed at me. I ask her why and she said "because you didn't put a ... in the end!". LOL.

The Great Book of Amber
My friend Michelle suggested this book to me. I don't remember if I ever mentioned it on previous blogs...
This book has officially become MY FAVOURITE BOOK!
I think I have never read a book of true science fiction as epic as that. The Great Book of Amber is really timeless. I love how the characters talk, it was british English mixed with some American slangs. The author never really state what year or time the book was in yet it informed you of time passing. It was kind of like a royal battle in Narnia with immortals in a world bigger than our own. I love the author's style, he write sarcastically and is quite straight forward. The book is written from Corwin's point of view and he is a prince of Amber. Amber is the real center and all around it is similar places that resemble Amber in some ways called shadows. Earth is a shadow in which Corwin lived in for many years, that is why he talks american slangs. They seem to have another language, but the dialogue is always in English, the author just informs you they are speaking a different language in a very vogue way that makes you barely aware the fact that there was a change of language.
The whole story is straight forward but hard to understand fully. The author always gave you just enough to understand and think it over, but never enough to actually know what the real intent was. I love the way the author focuses on small detail such as people's expressions and movements. Everything that is said, done, observed serves a purpose. The characters in the book are all unique in their own way and the author smoothly shows the different personalities through a long series of events. The plot is never predictable because there never seem to be a real start to the story. Amber was just there, most of the main characters were all alive for a very long time, so you could never seem to predict anything long-term. You obtain information mostly by the characters own observations and conversations with others. The way people converse are all different and unique. I don't know how the author manages but when he mentions a character you can immediately almost feel their personality. The main character also thinks about a lot of stuff and undergoes many changes.
I haven't finished the book yet, and I can't wait!!! I have the edition in which there is the whole series in one book. I don't notice it when I read, but the author has this unique style and he always manage to grab your attention even with the smallest things...

Sales Goal Reached!
So today Mimi, Carina and I are going selling again around Langara Gardens. First I go out with on of my big sisters (a daughter of a family friend), her name is Sissi and she lives right next door to my aunt. She is going to university here, and she her home stay just happens to be right next door to my auntie. I don't see her often because she is so busy, but since it was Christmas break she had time and we went out for sushi. We were taking the 49th up to a sushi place on Victoria and we completely passed it. I mean I take the 49 everyday, but I don't know where Victoria place, apparently it is the street a little after or before DT, depending which way to are going. So we had to take the bus to the other direction to get back to Victoria. The sushi was awesome. My favourite sushi is the California roll, believe it or not no matter how hard I tried I couldn't find it in China. I had my first teriyaki (don't know if I spelled it right), I was never really interested in Japanese food, so I never actually ordered a real teriyaki in a Japanese restaurant.
Later we stopped at a 99 cent store and I got a bunch of tape, glue sticks, and gift bags. I needed them for Christmas wrapping...
I took the 49th again to Cambie and walked to Mimi's building. They were waiting for me in the lobby, and we went up to drop some of our stuff off in Mimi's house. Mimi made a whole new bunch of felt stuff and little lucky bottles, and I brought all the hats I knitted.
We went out to the town houses in Langara gardens. It was really cold outside, and Carina didn't bring her jacket. At first it was pretty discouraging, because a lot of people were not home. But then we started making lots and lots of money. The best was more than $10 at a time. Surprisingly I sold all of my hats. A lot of people even exclaimed on how I made the hats by myself. I wasn't expecting a lot of people to buy them honestly, I guess $7 dollars is really cheap for yarn hats...
It just happens to be that today is winter solstice and it got dark really early. Me were kinda worried for our safety but was determined to sell everything. It got colder and darker, Carina and Mimi were both really really cold in the end, but we finally sold everything!!!
We went back to Mimi's house and counted the money and we went on the company doc to record it. WOW! We made $374.81 in total! It was exactly past our goal which is $350.
We have officially passed our goal. I have all the money and because there is a lot of change, I am planning to go to the bank to exchange them for whole money. I don't think I have time to go any time soon though.
I wonder if we are the first company to reach our goal...

Downtown
Yesterday me and my friends Narae, Michelle and Carmen went to Downtown. First we were at Metrotown, we got some lunch and took the sky train to Downtown.
We were at the pacific centre, and doing nothing in particular. When you are with your friends, time passes too fast, and it doesn't really matter what you are doing as long as you are with them. We walking around the centre, but because we weren't familiar with the place we mostly walked back and forth on the same level. Later I decided to should go to Chapters, after all the chapters on Robson (I think it is on Robson...) is one of the biggest stores I have seen. It has three floors!!! Narae loves to read too, and so does Michelle. We drowned out selves in books. The best thing about having others who love to read too with you when you are in a environment full of books, is that there is always a book or two that you can suggest to the other. Usually when we are at book stores we ask each other if you have read this, if you like that book. Because there were so many good books that were suggested that I should read, I made a list on my cell phone so I can hunt them all down when I have the time. We spent hours in Chapters alone. Of course, we didn't just stared at books, we went to the kids section! I remember on last Thursday Mimi, Carina, Jennica and me spent an hour in the toy section of Sears. What can I say, I guess we are all still kids at heart. In the toy section we saw this raccoon puppet that come out of a garbage can, and a rabbit that came out of a hat. There were so many good puppets there, I wanted to get one for my brother, but they were super expensive, and I just didn't have that kind of money... I was hoping they had the puppets in the Chapters at Metrotown, that way I can take my mom there and get it. It is really cool, and I hope they have it.
After Chapters we lost interest in shopping or even walking around, so we decided to go to Narae's house. Her parents weren't home, and we were all tired. The bus ride to her house, however was really strange. We took 100 from the skytrain station and got kicked off at this stop for no reason at all. Another bus came shortly but we ended up back at the station somehow... When we finally got to her house, we spent at least and hour during transportation. It only felt like a few minutes to us, because we were talking and laughing and completely unaware of time. We played a very short game of Monopoly in Narae's house, and showed each other youtube videos. Soon it was dark and we had to go home. Michelle lives pretty far away, and we didn't want to travel alone in the dark. We all said good-bye to Narae and went home. We walked up some street I forgot the name of, and the street lamps were broken so it was really really dark. Thank goodness there were three of us, or else I would be seriously concerned about our safety. We waited for the 26 and got off at Arlington. My mom was still sleeping over in Port Moody and I had no intentions of riding a bus there at night, so I just went to my auntie's house. Carmen and Michelle got off with me, but they had to stay at the bus stop to wait for the 49.
It was one of the fastest days I have ever had. The whole day passed so fast is was a blur. Must be because I was having so much fun! But my trip didn't do a lot of good for my healing cold, I am starting to cough a little again... Sad...
Funny thing was, yesterday was Wednesday, but when I was out with my friends I kept thinking it was Sunday. Maybe because we always go out on Sundays, and also because there was no school...
I know today is Thursday, because I am going to go sell stuff with Mimi and Carina later! YAY!

Idea of Magic
I came across this video, when I was reading the wall of a friend on Facebook.
The video, like most TED videos, is very inspiring.
Watch before I spoil it!!!!
This video showed gave me some food for thought. Magic is deception, that is true. But art is a lie that inspire passion? How is art a lie? Because there is no "art" in general? That the definition of "art" is different for everyone? We are living to ourselves, that is true...
I can't get my hands on it, but I feel like this video is telling you so much more than just magic...

Life sucks when you are cold and not in your own bed.
This happened on Sunday night. So I woke in the middle of the night and was soooooo cold. The house suddenly had its heater turned down a purple of degrees, and I had this not so thick quit on. Plus the fact that I was sick. I was so cold, I started coughing like crazy again. Could not stop, I knew I was going to wake someone if I kept coughing like that. Also, I was at someone else's house and I didnt know where they kept their blankets... So what was I to do? I went to find my mom, because I was so cold. Eventually it got better with the help off my mom, but still. Normally I am not the homesick kind of person, my family often travels and you can't afford to e homesick when you are at Dysneyland. But stays at this aunties house in Port Mooday made me feel homesick. It is the fact that we are so close from home, 30 minute drive. Yet I have to stay here, for other reasons. Yesterday I had the time to read Fire, which is by the same author of Graceling. It is just as grant as Graceling, such a good book.
Boring. Boring borng.
So boring... But me and some friends ate finally going out on Wednesday. I hope I get better...

Sunday
Apparently I have ran out of good names to name my blog.
I write this blog for Sunday, because I am orally behind!
This weekend I have been sick, and sick, and more sick. I really hate being sick now!!! I never really disliked being sick before, but now I really do hate it. I am so annoyed it coughing and sneezing. It was pretty bad on Sunday, for a while I was coughing like crazy. Couldn't stop, felt like I was coughing my guts out. Couldn't stop...
On Sunday, and I remember because school ended for now, that it felt strange to know that I didn't have to go to any classes on Monday. I guess it only hit me on Sunday the fact that it had endless break time with no school for about two weeks.
And I had been reading. I finished the strange Angels series, abd The Gift. No fun when you are sleeping over at someone else's home and you're sick. No fun.
Plus there was really nothing to do, reading as the only thing that made me feel better. It also require igh concentration and the usage of you're eyes, which isn't very for someone who is sick. My mom says I should rest my eyes and not look at screens or read books, but I ct help it. Not reading equals to not doing anything, and since I am not at home, my list of things I could was limited anyways... Sucks to be not at home. I swear I am home sick...

Saturdays
My whole family went to sleep at this auntie's house. she is a family friend, and her houses in Port Moody.
Yesterday wasSaturday. And Ithink I brokeone of my personal record. I read 5 books in a day, or I should say 16 hours. I think the last I've I read so much books in a day, was when I was ring the series of The Vampire Academy. And, at that time my dad totally disapproved of me reading all day long so I had to hide the books and stuff...
I am still sick somehow. I still have this cold, and my throat still hurts. Except now, somethimrs I would feel like something is tickling my throat and it would made me cough and cough and cough uncountably. I am getting better after eating more Chinese medicine... This cold has lasted for almost 2 weeks by now... So I stayed home all day of course, and read books.
List of books I read:
1. Strange Angels
2. Betrayals (2nd book of Strange Angels)
3. Jealousy (3rd book)
4. Defiance (4th book)
5. Witches and Wizards by James Patterson.
Comments on Withces and Wizards.
This book is very beautiful. Even though it took place in a ad environment, he wrote the whole story in a very lighthearted way, which made me laugh all the time.
Later on there was a page of all these books that that the evil government banned. Apparently Harry Potter became Gary Blotter. Percy Jackson became Percivielle Johnson, and the Lightening Thief became the Thuder Theif. The Catcher and the Rye became The Pitcher and the Wheat. There were so many other books, and I tried to guess all of them. I got stuck at The Firegirl Saga, I don't know what it is. So funny!!!

Last Friday
Friday was the last day of school. hooray!!!
Even though it was the last day of school, our teachers still showed us no merci. Well, most of them. First block we had English, our mandala project was due. Me, Leslie, and April were a group. Our themem was femininity, so we were doing this big pink flower for our mandala. Me and Leslie got to school at around 7:20 and we worked on the final party of the mandala together.we were supposed to meet at 7:45, but the day enforce we talked on google docs and decided to come earlier. The thing was, April wasn't on the doc, so she was supposed to come of 7:45. Well, she didn't show up at 8:00 so me and Leslie were really worried. Because we needed her parts to assemble the mandala, we couldn't do a lot of stuff if she didn't get there. I went all the way to find Jessie, and she contacted April for us. Apparently she was still on her way and is was already 8:10. So soon april go there, and I was like the god. I wasn't that angry art the time, I am not the kind of person who gets angry easily, but I was that morning already. The thing was April got there, but she didn't work on her part at all! So she had to copy the parts of her parts onto the flower petals. Me and Leslie already did these stuff at home. That really made me mad. I mean coming late is one thing, but not doing your parts when you could have did it at home is another thing. So the results were we had to work on it during our short class, I hope Mr.Hauck didn't take marks off for that! I M just saying, if April had done what she was supposed to do, we would have been done but heathen!! And we wouldn't have looked as if we were doing it at last minute. And I want to thank Mimi for helping us!
Second block was science. And we had a written test on reproduction. I completely didn't know what gametes were,I am so stupid!
Third block was textiles. I love sewing, and so first I sewed a tissue holed thing. Then I sewed a stocking for my brother as his Christmas present. We only had30 minutes so I was on a tight schedulale.
Fourth block was French.we didn't do anything, so me and Leslie made more envelopes for Mimi's Christmas cards.
Finally our classes were over and e had the Christmas assembly. I have never attended a Churchill assembly before because I came late last year. It was really fun. I thought it says kinda funny how our president Darren kept getting everyone to "unrehearsed party" in the middle of the gym. The dance group was great, I got Last Friday Night stuck in my head after that. Salt we lost the can food drive "friendly competition" with Hamber. According to Leslie, we lost last year too. And as Leslie predicted, we lost it this year too. I guess these things have nothing to do with how much students there are in a school.
So after the assembly, we all swarmed out and went... Yuni, Vivian, Latvina were going to Metrotown. Since I was going to my auntie's house, I walked with them. My cousin was going to take me to go go-karting, but she changed hthe plans and I ended up in Metrotown instead. I felt bad, because Mimi and Carina went to sell stuff that day for the company, and I couldnt go, but then I could. They sold everything and made 42 dollars! YAY!
My cousin and our friend, soon came to metro too. There was something wrong with my iPad and we went to the apple store to fix it. It turned out it wasn't broken at all, it was just when my little brother and I were grabbing for it, one of us pressed something and made it weird. The guy in the apple store fixed it right away.
We went to play DDR, and we did other stuff.

Synergy Christmas Party
First of all I would like to day I am SO SORRY that I wasn't there later on!!!
When we first started towards the centre, I was marvelling at how Synergy people got so much freedom! I was shocked. We get to plan our own field trip and go there by ourselves. When we got there it was so cold, and we were pretty hungry. At least I was. We waited a while for Mr. Olson but decided to go get something to eat. I guess one of the factors that Mimi and Jennica didn't really want to skate because there was a whole school of kids there and it was cold. I thought the ice rink was really small. Apparently Carina can't skate, and I can't say much better about myself. I have only ever skated once, and it was at someone birthday party... So we went to get stuff to eat, A&W is delicious. I love prime rib burgers, and chicken strips with honey-mustard... So good. It was just Mimi, Jennica, Carina, and me. We kinda got carried off so we started walking towards nowhere in particular. We thought about going back, but somehow never did. We ended up in the toys section of Sears, which is bizarre considering we are all grade 9s. Jennica and I looked for possible toys to get our little cousin or brother, while Mimi looked at all the rip off prices of the toys. Then we went to the Christmas ornaments section and looked at Christmas decorations and such. I bet we spent at least an hour inside Sears. By the time we got out everyone got something except for Carina. I bought this cup as a Christmas present for Carmen, and some keys for other people. Any ways, the stuff in Sears were so cheap! As in good! There was a 60 percent off. I still can't believe that the snow globes were only 9.99, after 60% off is like around only 5 dollars! Crazy!
So yes I apologize again for not being where I should be. NO matter what my excuses may be, I feel terribly guilty. And I want to thank Cynthia for organizing such a cool party. I was hoping we could watch Mission Impossible 4 or was it 5? I have been waiting for that movie to come out, but I don't know if it is out or not...
Have to go to sleep. Have to get to school at 7:30 tomorrow. Work on English project. Have Science test. Study tomorrow. Busy Last Day!
1 more to go!!!

What? What?
So much stuff to do so little time. Is still have to write blogs because I am behind. I would have done verything earlier if I hadn't had to go to a family friends' house to eat dinner. This uncle was going to go back to China tomorrow and he invited us to dinner in his house at Port Moody. If you don't know, it is quite far away from Vancouver, and it takes a long time to get there. Plus even though we are close, it isn't nice to do your homework when you are visiting someone. Have I never mentioned that they had a pool table? How cool is that? I don't know how to play pool, but my cousin taught me. It is very fun.
The good thing about having your own pool table is the fact that you can do whatever you want for as long as you want for FREE. So usually when we go to their house we like to play pool. Of course my little brother's involvement makes it kinda impossible because he like to run around the edges of the pool table and switch the positions of the balls. Unfortunately for me, I am still not feeling very well, but I do hope I feel better by Friday. At least good enough to sing Christmas carols. I love singing, it just fills me with joy.
Now I will go back to doing English homework and hopefully sleeping within the hour!

Adventure!!!
I know this is due on the 15th. I just can't believe I forgot to post these. I realized I haven't been posting as regularly as I should. These days I am just so busy! I would have forgotten about the adventure it if my classmate hadn't reminded me. I was going to do it the other day, but transferring pictures is really annoying... SO much projects, tests, what not. So here.
I went to the Vandusen Botanical Garden (such a long name...) on Oak Street. I went there quite a while ago. It was so beautiful, unlike now... With all the leaves gone, there is almost nothing colourful...
The person in front of the tree is my cousin Sammi. And me of course!!! I got that pair of boots from my auntie...
My camera really sucks, it has no shake control. So even if I shake a little, it comes out badly... Sad...

My book lost on the wind...
I ordered a copy of clockwork prince just the day before it came out. I really wanted to read it so I went online and was surprised to find it on a website. I read it and it broke my heart... But I have my doubts, since I am not sure if the version online is real, so I really wanted the real one to come soon. Although I do think the version I read is the real version, or else I wouldn't have read it. I thought the book was going to get here by Monday because I checked on Friday and it was already picked up by the post office. My cousin predicted that it is going to get here today. I didn't remember until dinner time, and I got really frustrated. I can't believe it still isn't here yet! I have been waiting and waiting. I don't mind if it takes long to ship or something, but since it has been already picked up by the post office then it should be getting here by now! Plus if I got it today I could have brought it to school tomorrow to reread while we wait for the winter concert to start.
Back to work...
Back to work...
Projects
Today is a Monday. Monday's are always busy, but today is a bomb! First block I realize our english project is due on Wednesday, our socials project is due tomorrow, and we have science test on both Wednesday and Friday. Okay fine, already knew about the science tests, but the projects set me on an edge. Lucky for us, Mr.Hauck changed the due date to Friday. YAY! So now I am working on my socials and English at the same time. Problem is my group members showed up really late. Leslie is on now, but Vivian is still not here. It is due tomorrow, and we have to make this brochure. Then for english I have to buy all these pink boards but I didn't today. Then I have this textiles project that our teacher really wanted us to finish. She wouldn't let me go for helping out the test. I rea
Lu love sewing, it is my favorite class, I was really sad to miss it. Even though I was able to get some stuff done. I work like a tornado when I want to. I think I will go to the textiles room tomorrow at lunch. Wait, I can't, I have choir practice! Tomorrow is Winter Festival and we have an assembly. I have to stay at school for a couple of hours. I need to bring a book to read then...
Lu love sewing, it is my favorite class, I was really sad to miss it. Even though I was able to get some stuff done. I work like a tornado when I want to. Flu
I have a cold, but my mom thinks it may be a flu. I didn't even know there was a flu going on. Yesterday my mom made med sleep through the whole afternoon. I slep at four and woke up at eight. I did feel better, but not much. My throat was still hurting liked hell, I couldn't talk properly. I was really mad when I woke up, I was so annoyed of being sick. It seemed like everytime there was something important going and it was around my birthday I would get sick somehow... OMG I am just typing on the iPad when my keyboard split into two! I was freaked out, didn't know what to do. I googled it, apparently all you had to do was pull them together again. I can't think of any reasons why someone would want to split their keyboard into two.
So past year when it was my birthday I had a party with my friends in china at the mall. That day I was experiencing minor cold plus stomach aches. Every year I get sick around the time of my birthday. Tink it has become a habit, must be the relief of growing up...
I am feeling better I guess, but I really hope I can get this flu over with before Monday. We Erie singing Christmas carols in choir and I would hate to miss that!!!

Cold
Their is a flu going on around here. Half the people I know are either having a cold, or have other symptoms of one. I mean my mom has a sore throat, the girl in choir has a cold. Now my cousin has a cold too. Everyone has a cold!!!!!
I have been having sore throats ever since Wednesday and I can't sing in choir, I can't talk properly. My voice is very low and scratchy. My mom thinks it sounds nice! But it doesn't, it sounds awful, and I can't sing!!!! Next week is the east week of school, and there will be choir performances, we will be singing Christmas choirs. If I can't sing by next Monday, I would be missing out on so much fun! I am really starting to feel the cold, having headaches and spinning head.
On Thursday I went to choir practice and tried to sing, but I can't. Not even if I wanted to, even if I could I still wouldn't because I sound so horrible. It was really sad, to stand on the stands and hear everyone else sing around you, yet you cannot utter a sound. Sad...
I hope this is the last time I get sick this year!

Square Dancing
Square dancing started around last week, or somewhere around there.
I don't mind square dancing, and I don't mind dancing with guys... I mean I have had a lot worse, when I was graduating in China, we had to waltz. Compared to that square dancing is much better.
The problem is there are two times the number of boys than girls. Which means girls have to dance each song twice, and continuously. While the boys switch turns and they only have to dance each song once and they get to sit down every other round.
The first few classes were okay, I didn't mind dancing for the whole time. But after a few classes, it got really tiring. I mean imagine having to dance for the whole time for one whole PE class.
I don't get why boys can't dance with boys. Last year I wasn't here for square dancing, but she said that there were too much girls and so the teacher let girls dance with the girls. I don't see why boys can't dance with boys, it isn't very different right? Instead we girls have to dance everything twice and the whole class, while the boys get to sit down and rest. Not fair!!!

Analyze
I couldn't stop thinking about Clockwork Prince. I have suddenly thought about what is the book I read online was written by some online writer? What if it was a fake? I thought the spiriting style and the amount of literature was very much like the author, but the surprising turn of events in the story might have made me have some doubts.
I was thinking about Will and Tessa and Jem. I know Tessa really loves Will, but she cannot do anything because she already chose Jem. The love between them was like a firework. But when it came to Jem, she ws more protective. As if her first priority would always be to protect Jem from owing hurt. And soon that became Wills priority too. Tessa has more passion with Will than with Jem, but she cares more for the health and happiness of Jem. Maybe because he was probably going to die if they could not find a cure for his disease. But Tessa also has more in common with Waill than with Jem. Jem grew up in a happy family that was destroyed. Will was forced to abandon his own family, wile Tessa was abandoned by her family, they have more in common. Also, Will has a love for books and so does Tessa. They both love books and poetry because it helps them escape the real world.
Of cruise this is just me, and I am sure it is a very biased opinion because I simply like Wilil more then I do Jem.
I have a bg French test tomorrow, I should really go study now...

Clockwork Prince
This is the book have been reading for the past days. I have been eccentric every since it came out yesterday. I have been waiting for it for half a year, and I bought three copies online. Not all are for me of course, I am giving my two friends each one copy for Christmas present.
I love the series, and the author is simply epic. I have enjoyed her other series the mortal instruments very much, and found the clockwork series just as interesting.
At first when I first read the first book, I thought it would be a lot like the Mortal Instruments series. But after reading the psecond book, I understand that the two series could not have been more different.
I have not yet recieved the books I got online yet, they don't deliver books that fast. However to my surprise, I found a free version online yesterday. I could not resist the temptation to see if they had the book, and I could wait no longer. I read it and it broke my heart. I haven't had soo much to think about or to be sad about ever since Barrons in the fever series "died".
I admit I am a faithful Will fan,who have never had any feelings for Jem. And if you had read the first book of the series, it was simply obvious that Will had some deep dark secret from his past that was haunting him. If you read the teasers Cassie gave out, you would realize that Tessa and Jem have grown closer in this book. First Will's secret was even more surprising than I thought, and Tessa and Jem's relationship went way way beyond just being friends.
It broke my heart because Tessa chose Jem over Will without even assessing her choice, without giving Will's true character more thought. Even when he had told the truth of his actions to her, she could not show some sympathy for him, could not at least bother to comfort him. It broke my hert because of how Jem and Will were so oblivious for both their love for Tessa, and they were parabatai!!! I couldn't believe it... Will in so much pain, pain that was never meant for him, pain that would maybe never go away. The sad part was he was like a bird who had just reclaimed his freeware to e himself when, he realized the world has left him behind while he was writhing in pain.
This book reminds me of Wuthering Heights. When I thought about it, a lot of books these days resembled Wuthing Heights, such as Twilight.
I truly have given up hope for Will, and possibly the anticipation of a happy ending for this book. For some reason, I could almost guess the finale of this series would include people being forever alone. At least for Tessa, maybe Will. The thing about Jem is I am not quite sure he will even make it to the end before he is sentenced to death.
I hope the Mortal Instruments isnt deprssing as this, because I couldn't stand it if something were to happen to Jace and Clary, or any other characters for that matter (with the exception of Sebastian of corse)

December 5th, my special day
Today is my birthday, and I realize that there is really no point in celebrating a day. I mean there are 365 days in a year, and your birthday is only the day you were born(for me 14 years ago). Why would you celebrates that? But people always want to celebrate something, have an excuse to put off work ^^.
Today at school, I admit I was excited about it being my birthday but not like the other years. Today I was more of "today is my birthday and I am going to live it as any other normal day",while before I was probably "today is my birthday so I'm special"
one of the reasons I didn't want to tell my friends in school that it was my birthday because most of them had the same reaction---which is to sing happy birthday at the top of their lungs. I have nothing against the song, but it is surprisingly loud and esy to hear. No attract attention to self. But I told anyways because as much as I decided not celebrate my birthdays, it was just not the day that you spend alone keeping it to your self.
Happy birthday to me!!!!!!
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!
Tomorrow the clockwork prince is finally coming out, been waiting for it for half a year!!! I ordered three copies online. One is for me, the other two are my BFFs, they really love the book too so I am getting it for them as a Christmas present. It is really cheap online, the only problem is I don't know when I will be getting it. If it takes longer than a week, I am afraid I won't make it!!! Mental explosion!!!!
I love Cassandra Clare, she is such a good author!!!!

Christmas Party
Today my friend Michelle from elementary school invited me to one of her Koungfu class Christmas party. It was held at killarney community center and it was really fun. My friend is helping coach at her Koungfu place, and she got an award for best coach! She is so awesome. She performed a song for us. Michelle goes to Bing and she is in the choir there. First they had a lion dance performance, and then we feast. They served Chinese food, of course to attend this party I had to pay 12 dollars. Then we had other performances and then we had dessert. I would so go again next year. You could bring a ten dollar and up gift to enter the gift exchange thing, I brought a scarf and got a cd for sponge bob.
Chirstmas is near, everywhere you go there is Christmas decorations. Oh and I forgot to mention, there was an Christmas parade today in downtown. We went to see, it was really cool, I didn't see the whole thing becaus ei had to go but so far it was really fun!

DDR
For those who do not know, DDR stands for dance dance revolution, and it is the most in arcade game in the whole wide world.
Basically you dance with four arrows for the game. And it is so fun! I first played it with my friends at Metrotown last year. So epic, I first sucked at it, couldn't get the arrows right. But now is an getting better and better. Today when my and my cousin went to metro we stopped by the arcade and decided to play DDR once because I really like it. We ended up staying there longer than we'd thought. My and my cousin are not pros at the game, but we enjoy playing. It is a gome where all you have to do is dance, and sometimes ou don't get the chance to dance in life!
After playing the game many times I conclude that for each song you play you have to find the rythm of the song in order to get your foot work right. If you are at a wrong tempo, then you will die really easily if the game was harder.
We played other games such Asa drums and the press the button games. It was all really a fun. Before we left,we wanted to play DDR one more time. We were so tired and it was making us even more tired. Because the temperature in the room was really high, we were sweating, and it was great! I bet I will never experience something like that again...
When we got he we were all worn out, do tired. So much walking and playing and dancing. If I get the chance, I am going t get my friends to go to the arcade again sometime.

Deep Book
Yesterday I didn't write my blog because I was like 3000 feet under. I was reading a book and I just can't stop.
I don't know what the name of the series is, but the first book is called Darkfever. I think it is the fever series. However my favorite book is the last book named Shadowfever.
I started reading this book because I was on this online reading website, www.onread.com, and I saw this most popular books list. I clicked into it and found books that are from the fever series had a really a high rating. I wasn't surprised to see that Percy Jackson and the Olympians were definitely at least one of the top 5s. Since the book seemed to be popular, I decided to read it.
Starting from the first book, I woudld say that it was very interesting. The author is very good at creating and developing her characters in a realistic yet inspiring way. By the time I got to the third book, I thought some of the parts are really 18a... The last book is my favorite, it contained so many good quotes and morals. One of them is something like "true evil is evil that believes it is good".
Another thing the author never cease to surprise you, where ever you go, when ever the story turns a corner there is something new and unknow waiting for you to piece together. And as i was comparing it to Harry potter, I realized that the plot of this book was the intensity of othe plots of Harry potter times at least 5.
When I finished the book, it didn't feel like all the puzzle pieces were finally it together, it felt like she finally gave us all of othe pieces so we can actually about it together.
The characters in this book are so interesting and complicated to the end of the series I still do not completely understand some of them. These characters, especially the main characters, changes so much and learn so much. The characters were learning and changing with the reader. When I compared the main character from the first book to the last book, so there such a huge contrast in which she had grown.
To be honest, I wish there is still another book after Shadowfever, though by the feel of it I think it is the lat book of the series. I am going to check it out. Google rocks!!!!!!

Family tree
Tomorrow there is an English project, and we barely had anytime to prepare for it.
I am making this huge family tree for our project. Our group is doing the book The Beet Queen. It is a book with so many characters, we have decided that our central metaphor will be a beet...
I am done making most of the tree. Now I just need to fill it with content! I made a little card like name for each of the characters, but I am afriad it is going to be too small. I am using an iPad my mom got for me as an early birthday present. Not good to use when you need to edit something really quickly, but at least it can't take postures which is good. Bow I have to open the actual computer, because you really cannot edit anything on a touch screen pad!!! Drives me crazy sometimes.
Tomorrow there is also a science presentation, we have to a skit on the reproductive system. Nt everyone has to do a skit though, some groups have to do interpretive dance, a love poem, dr.suess style, and others.
So busy, gotta get back to work!
