Car ride back home was the same as going to Portland. Boring as ever. We were following the other family's car because they had a GPS. The other family drove sooooo slow. My cousin was driving, and I could feel her urge to just step on the petal. I was sitting in the front seat and I actually wanted to step on the petal too.
We got separated though because they were hidden by some other cars in front of us and they got off a random exit to get gas. We were behind them and didn't see them go off, when we saw them again it was already too late so we just kept going. However we did go off on the next exit but we never found them again. Now we were free to drive as fast as we want, and we got home much earlier. But instead of going home when we were back in Vancouver we went to Crystal Mall for dinner and some other errands my cousin needed to run. And that was my trip to Portland... I remember how I really like the trams and the brick streets of Portland. When I was there I kept remembering how Bella Swan from Twilight was almost kidnapped in Portland but was saved by Edward. That has nothing to do with Portland itself of course. Portland looked really clean and British style. I think I like it better than Seattle, I really do hope. I really do hope that I could go back to that book store again. I saw some books on sale and it was only around 5 US and there was no tax! Amazing!
