Clockwork Prince

This is the book have been reading for the past days. I have been eccentric every since it came out yesterday. I have been waiting for it for half a year, and I bought three copies online. Not all are for me of course, I am giving my two friends each one copy for Christmas present.
I love the series, and the author is simply epic. I have enjoyed her other series the mortal instruments very much, and found the clockwork series just as interesting.
At first when I first read the first book, I thought it would be a lot like the Mortal Instruments series. But after reading the psecond book, I understand that the two series could not have been more different.
I have not yet recieved the books I got online yet, they don't deliver books that fast. However to my surprise, I found a free version online yesterday. I could not resist the temptation to see if they had the book, and I could wait no longer. I read it and it broke my heart. I haven't had soo much to think about or to be sad about ever since Barrons in the fever series "died".

I admit I am a faithful Will fan,who have never had any feelings for Jem. And if you had read the first book of the series, it was simply obvious that Will had some deep dark secret from his past that was haunting him. If you read the teasers Cassie gave out, you would realize that Tessa and Jem have grown closer in this book. First Will's secret was even more surprising than I thought, and Tessa and Jem's relationship went way way beyond just being friends.
It broke my heart because Tessa chose Jem over Will without even assessing her choice, without giving Will's true character more thought. Even when he had told the truth of his actions to her, she could not show some sympathy for him, could not at least bother to comfort him. It broke my hert because of how Jem and Will were so oblivious for both their love for Tessa, and they were parabatai!!! I couldn't believe it... Will in so much pain, pain that was never meant for him, pain that would maybe never go away. The sad part was he was like a bird who had just reclaimed his freeware to e himself when, he realized the world has left him behind while he was writhing in pain.
This book reminds me of Wuthering Heights. When I thought about it, a lot of books these days resembled Wuthing Heights, such as Twilight.
I truly have given up hope for Will, and possibly the anticipation of a happy ending for this book. For some reason, I could almost guess the finale of this series would include people being forever alone. At least for Tessa, maybe Will. The thing about Jem is I am not quite sure he will even make it to the end before he is sentenced to death.
I hope the Mortal Instruments isnt deprssing as this, because I couldn't stand it if something were to happen to Jace and Clary, or any other characters for that matter (with the exception of Sebastian of corse)
