Birthdays!!!!!

  Today is my brother's birthday.
  YAY!!!
  He is officially 4 today.
  I am really sad because I can't spend this birthday with him, he is in China now... And I am here...
  But I phoned him and wished him happy birthday, he told me he was going to save me a piece of chocolate blueberry birthday cake (they didn't get the cake yet).
  He is so cute, somehow, I can never spend his birthdays with him. He is four years old, and this is the second birthday I am not with him on. I mean it makes me feel like I am a bad sister.
  But I guess, it's okay. As long as he is happy. I mean, he is just a 4 year old boy. I think for him, almost everyday seems like his birthday. You get presents, and you get to play around, you get to live care-free.
  Must be so nice to be a 4 year old again. When you are small, it means eating a cake and getting what ever you want that day. When you get older and do to high school, your birthday is the day where you get to hear your classmates and teachers sing the Happy Birthday song, and get birthday punches from your friend. More and more time passes, and birthdays seem less and less important. When it is my parent's birthdays, they tell you they are getting older and older every year. When it is my grandparent's birthdays, they don't even want to acknowledge it because it just remind them of how little time they have left.
  Birthdays mean different things when you are at different ages, I just hope that the excitement of having birthdays can last.
 
  Since I can only tell my brother happy birthday on the phone, and I can't even give him a present. I will write my wish to him through the Internet. At least when he grows up, he won't go like "How come you forgot my 4th birthday???"
