Flash mob

Great. I totally forgot to blog about this.
So last Friday, we had a flash mob at a certain community centre. I have no idea where we were, because I am really not familiar with the place we were. There  were 7 of us travelling together, and we went to get pizza for lunch on Broadway. It was really fun to eat lunch with all those friends in a small pizza diner. We were totally crazy, and the best part was we were the only ones (mostly, some people came and went) in the restaurant.
My time schedule has been messed up for this whole week, starting from last Friday.
So we got to the flash mob place, after getting on the wrong bus, and a lot of other stuff. Oh, yeah. When we were almost at the community centre, there was this tiny road we had to cross. So a few of us, seeing that there were no cars coming immediately, started to cross. And the rest on the side walk started screaming stuff like "OMG, what are you guys doing? Do you want to get hit by a car?". All the people crossing (including me), stopped in the middle of the street. It happens to be that it can be pretty scary when people scream at you that there is a car coming or something. So everyone on the street froze, and started to panic. There was a car coming from both sides, but they were driving real slow and was still a distance away. We were just standing in the middle, shocked and panicked. In the end we all ran back to the side we came from, and earned a deserved honk from one of the cars. I bet they didn't see teenage girls standing in the middle of the street panicking a lot.
Once it was over, we all laugh really really hard. It was all so funny. The people who were crossing the street could have totally made it, but were only stopped because the people on the side walk started panicking and yelling stuff at us. There was no real danger at all in the crossing the street because when we were first crossing the cars were so far away it was impossible to reach us. But the only reason it did, because after we heard the people yelling, everyone was so confused, and could not decide what to do next. The confusion and panic resulted in everyone standing in the middle of the street like idiots.
This time I learned the full force of panic, and I suggest to everyone that when someone is crossing the road with no street signs, don't start yelling stuff like "your gonna get hit by a car" unless they really car going to be hit by a car.
The flash mob wasn't really a flash mob, because we were all standing there for at least half an hour? And then we did the dance a few times. I noticed the teacher said "this is the last time" for at least 2 times. The dancing was pretty fun, but there really were no space to move freely. I got squeezed by the little kids and formed my own line. But no one ever noticed, because everyone was like that. One of the guys couldn't do all the turning moves, because he was right beside a pole. And also it was really cold before we started dancing, standing there in t-shirts was not a good idea.
Next time, I think we should be more organized, and should spend less time just standing there. But it was all really fun, and I enjoyed dancing with the little kids a lot. I think we should totally do it again.
