Science Fair Marks

  We got our science fair marks back...
  OMG!!!!
  Horrified..
  I am totally not going to put my mark on this blog, because any one can see it. But it was a B. It was one of those high Bs that was close to A, but far away at the same time. Any ways, I guess I did pretty well for my first science fair. At least that is what everyone else says. Of course, I myself, think that I could have totally done better! First thing that sucks is I had a lack of qualitative data. The thing is I included this in my log book, because I record what I observe every experiment. But I didn't think to include it in my science fair display board... The second thing is a mistake that only a person doing their first science fair would make. I had fonts that were too small. I used 12, while most used 14 and double spaced, or larger fonts. Basically, my information was a little hard too read (not very hard, just a little). And there were lots of other small things such us not listing my uncertainties in my discussion (which I was sure I did, but I guess Ms. Jay doesn't think so). And I got bad marks for my graphs, because I know my summarizing graphs were not really good. I also got marks taken off for putting extra pictures... I probably would not have to do that if I did not have extra space, a result of my small fonts yada yada yada.
  In conclusion, I got an okay mark for science fair this year. And I am pretty happy with it considering this is my first science fair. But I can't help wonder what a higher mark I would get if it were not my first science fair. But everything has a first, and since this time is my first. Next time, I am totally bringing home an A!
