Never thought I'd say this, but basketball is really fun!
When I was in elementary school, my mom used to make me learn basketball. She signed me up for all these after school practices. I wasn't very good. Most of the time, I looked at the others play because no one would pass me the ball. I was shorter than most at the time, and it didn't help my situation. I couldn't shoot very well, still can't. I can dribble, but chances are the ball is going to fall out of my grasp if I dribble it too much. Playing basketball again in P.E, it helped me understand what I was really good at.
We started basketball last week, at first it was only the simple stuff, shooting hoops, dribbling. But then we started to play 2 on 2 and 3 on 3. It became more fun, and I was ultimately god at checking people. I can follow the person around and make sure that they can't get the ball, well most of the time. Today for P.E we were playing Ms.May's class and it was so fun. I sweated a lot, that means lots of exercise. I would love to do it again, but we are starting square dancing next class. Even though I am not looking forward to the square dancing, I have nothing against it. In fact, I have had worse. In china, we had to waltz for our graduation ceremony. Square dancing is nothing compared to that!
