I can't find my tool bar!!! It just disappeared! I can't find it unless I go to my desktop.
I am more than happy to say that I can now type blind. I think this was the topic I wanted to write about the day before yesterday. I have a lot of typos when I type. I find that typing is so much more different than writing. When you write you use your own style and handwriting and you can see the words sprawled onto the paper one by one. Your hands move from left to right, left to right. The sensation is very memorable, I really think the world would suck if people never wrote stuff down with their hands any more.
I love to write cursive, I think it is a beautiful style. The problem with my writing is that I have never found a style that is most like me. When I was small, when I wrote English, I either wrote in cursive to make it look pretty, or wrote in my normal boring handwriting that looks messy. I see my mom or my cousin's handwriting, and I feel like what they were writing was always a bit of both. I have been trying to write like that, but it just doesn't work out well. I always ended up writing in cursive or normal towards the end, it is like my handwriting is a rubber band and no matter how hard I tried to shape it into something else, it always snapped back into place.
Back to typos, see when you write something down on a piece of paper, it lessens the possibly of you have a typo (or writing something wrong), because you are reading the things you write and writing new stuff at the same time, which really helps you catch the small mistakes people normally make you are not careful. When I type, sometimes I still have the habit of looking at my keyboard. And when you look at your keyboard, you wouldn't be able to see or read what you just wrote. Hence all the typos I make.
Also I realize that typing stuff all the time does no help you your vocabulary learning and spelling skills. When I type stuff on Microsoft, google docs, or blog, it will always correct me if I spell something wrong. To some point, I am relying on the spelling corrector way more than I should. Sometimes I use this word, I know what it is and briefly how to spell it, but I just can't remember clearly, so I write down what I think, if it is wrong the spelling checkers thing will point it out. If not, then it is right. But unlike Microsoft which comes with everything, when you write blogs it doesn't correct your grammatical mistakes...
I don't see why this website does not recognize the word "blog", "mom", or "google"
