Today this friend of my auntie's invited us out for dinner at this place called Stone Grill. As you can probably tell from the name, you get to eat stuff that is grilled on stone. The interesting thing is that you get to do it yourself.
I ordered a Super Steak (or something like that), and I had to grill it on my stone. My stone was really hot at first, and my meat looked so raw and bloody. So I cut it up and grill it piece by piece. But the stone was still too hot and it was burning my meat at the bottom. It took my a long time to cut the whole thing up, I was really hungry so I just dived in after it looked good.
I am sure I didn't feel it when I was eating the meat, but now that I think about it, we were all just like cave men who would fry their raw meat on sticks. It was just that we had sharp knives and plates to do it with. Lots to do for my liver, pretty sure I ate something raw and bloody.
The stone was pretty cool, until it got too cool. It was not hot after only a while and I had not finished cooking my meat yet, so it was still a little raw. The meat also didn't taste as good as when the stone was still hot...
Tomorrow is take your kids to work day. For me it should be "take your cousin to school day", because my cousin is taking me to school.
It happens to be that her classes end at 5:30 and I have this orientation at Marpole community centre at 4:30. I guess I wouldn't be able to go, really need to phone the guy who runs the program.
'Night.
