My mom thinks I stay home too much so she insisted on my coming along when she took my brother our for a walk at central park.
We saw a lot of squirrels, and it was really cold.
The two lakes were frozen and some ducks were walking on it. The whole time we walked around the lake I was fighting to urge to step onto the ice for no other reason than to see if it breaks.
Later we saw THE squirrel. The one that can wave at you. My cousin went to Central Park with her friend once and they saw the squirrel. It would wave and say hi to you to get food, they even recorded it. Today I was pretty sure the squirrel that stood up and was going to wave at me before my brother attacked him with nuts was THE squirrel. Too bad I didn't get a chance to see it actually wave.
The cold was biting into my skin and there was no way to stop it, so my mom decided to race us back to the car. The running kept us warm, despite the running, we were all very energized when we finally got to the car.
Parks are fun, but I think I prefer to go there during summer time. In winter there is just so much ice, snow, and frost.
