Concert Choir

The Concert Choir was another interesting experience. It was held at Killarney High School. I roughly recall having been to Killarney on a choir concert when I was still in elementary school. My elementary school was very close to Killarney, so lots of people went there after they graduated. I was hoping to see some of my old friends or classmates, but didn't see any there tonight.
I was at debate club and got home pretty late, I rushed through dinner and got dropped off at Killarney. My mom along with my brother, auntie, and cousin all came to see me. Because the concert festival lasted for about 4 hours, they left after our choir sang. We got there are around 6 and the whole thing ended at almost 10.
At first it was all really exciting, the Churchill intermediate choir (which is the one I am in) and the Senior choir were combined together for out first performance. We were the second to perform, right after Hamber. After a few more songs things started to get boring. Not to say the songs were not good, but you could feel the thought of sitting there in the room for another 3 to 4 hours settle in, and you start to feel like your chair is strangely uncomfortable. By the time half the choirs performed, the room was uncomfortable because it was too warm. I was looking forward to hearing the Magee choir sing, after all it is said to be a great choir. The whole performance was very lively and creative, but I thought the song lacked more emotion and connection. I thought the senior choir from Churchill, who had to go right after Magee, did a great job! I thought the choirs that did the best job tonight was Hamber, Killarney, Churchill and of course Magee.
Also, you would have thought that standing in front of a bunch of other fellow singers would make you feel nervous. But the truth was it wasn't bad at all. My cousin says that when I performed when I was small, my face would always twitch because I extremely nervous. Well, I was sure I didn't even twitch once today. In fact, I thought the whole process to be fun and entertaining. I think we should do this more often, but maybe in a samller time range...
