Happy Sheep and Big Bad Wolf

  This is the cartoon I was talking about when I was blogging about Tangled. This a a really popular cartoon in China called Happy Sheep and Big Bad Wolf. In Chinese it is: 喜羊羊与灰太狼. I think that it is one of the best cartoons in China. In my opinion, the comics in China really sucks. Especially the newer ones, they just get more and more strange and completely loose the cartoon feel. The TV shows in Canada are really good, they are all so creative, bright, and have a good moral. But the TV shows or cartoons in China are mostly just random stuff, about more random stuff, and other things that little kids should know about. The thing is, I think it is the way they interpret the things they want to teach kids, it always seem so... cryptic. Don't know how to describe it. But Happy Sheep and Big Bad Wolf is one of the really good cartoons, and even I like to watch it. It sounds so weird referring to it as "Happy Sheep and Big Bad Wolf", I have gotten used to calling it "喜羊羊与灰太狼“. Actually I believe if you translate the words directly from Chinese to English it is "Happy Sheep and Grey Wolf", but I guess "Big Bad Wolf" sounds better.

This is the starting song, and I totally love it. EVERYONE in China know this cartoon. There were some English versions, but I think the Chinese one sounds better...

This is the song for the second season of the cartoon. At the beginning of this song, they start by singing about a list of vegetables, and then moves on to ho how happy everyone is or something like that. I just heard the English version, and it was totally off... Or maybe it just sounded wrong because I got used to the Chinese... I had a friend who memorized this whole song. She would sing it in school, and I would laugh at her when she sings about the vegetables... So FUNNY!

This is such a cute cartoon... The Wife of the Big Bad Wolf has a frying pan too, she often hits her husband with it. LOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOL it is really funny. They even made a movie out of this cartoon...

  I think I kinda miss it, they never play it in Canada...
