The last thing Kelsey Hayes thought she’d be doing this summer was trying to break a 300-year-old Indian curse. With a mysterious white tiger named Ren. Halfway around the world.
  But that’s exactly what happened.
Face-to-face with dark forces, spell- binding magic, and mystical worlds where nothing is what it seems, Kelsey risks everything to piece together an ancient prophecy that could break the curse forever.
Tiger’s Curse is the exciting first volume in an epic fantasy-romance that will leave you breathless and yearning for more.
“. . . a sweet romance and heart-pounding adventure. I found myself cheering, squealing, and biting my nails — all within a few pages. In short, Tiger’s Curse is magical." -Becca Fitzpatrick, New York Times bestselling author of Hush, Hush.

My Comments
So this is the book I was reading this week.
At first I didn't enjoy the book very much, because I just couldn't understand why a teenage girl that was only 18 would agree to go all the way to India with a business man she hardly knew, just to accompany a tiger. She didn't think about the situation, her safety, her family, at all. I totally don't get the main character.
But the story got better when it arrived at the prophecy. I have always liked to read prophecies, I thought the were very intriguing, they always predicted something and gave you directions, but you never know what they really mean until you get there and experience it all. I think the author must have studied Indian cultures and myths, because there was a lot of that going on through out the whole story.
The romance part was pretty average. I mean most teen books these days are about romance, undying love, together for eternity... Even though I do enjoy reading romance most of the time, but I am really getting tired of those stuff, luckily this book wasn't like that, so it was okay.
Honestly I thought it was a good book, but there could definitely be some places that could improve in, because I don't think the main character sounded like she was 18 at all.
After I finished this book, I couldn't wait for the next book, so I searched it up online and read it the next day. The second book was even better than the first one, and the third book of the Tiger Series is coming out soon too.
This book filled me in with a lot of different myths and traditions of different cultures, it also included lots of poetry. It was a really interesting experience. And I can't wait for the third book to come out.
