Vancouver Home + Design Show

Today I went to the Vancouver Home + Design Show at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
The Vancouver Home + Design Show is showing from October 14th, which is yesterday, to October 16th, which is tomorrow. I don't know when it starts, but it ends at 9 o'clock at night.
I just went today a little after 5 and it took us 3 hours to go around the whole place. Wow. It was so huge. We went up and down along the aisles and checked out every exhibit. There were lots of mops, vacuums, and everything in between. They demonstrated how they worked, and my auntie bought a steam mop and two rubber broom thingys (actually she just got one, and the second one was for free). They were also selling and showing stuff from sofas and chairs to fireplaces and Mongolian tents. There was also lots of kitchen wares, such as pots and pans, blenders, scrubs, etc... I also remember seeing random stuff like mini stereos, pesto sauce, shower heads, lots of jewellery, and some paintings. Other than the mop and brooms, we also got a whole bag of aloe hand cream, something to clean your tub and sink drains, and a massager.
After going around the whole place we were all famished and parched, so we went to eat Vietnam noodles for dinner. Getting back to the car was hard, we had to carry all that stuff.
When we got home we tried the massager first. It was so awesome (not that we didn't know that), we tried it at the show already. The massager formed a U and you can out it on your shoulders. When I first put it on, I thought someone was knocking my shoulders for real. When I turned around, there was no one there, it is really comfortable. You can change the speed of the massaging and also move the position so it massages different places. As much as I liked the massager, I liked the mats they gave out more. If you get the massager they gave you a mat for free. It was a mat with little round circles on them that had parts sticking out. It is used to relax your nerves, so you step on the little spiky part and it massages your nerves from the sole of your feet. It HURTS! At first I didn't know how to even step onto the mat, it felt so spiky and hard, but after you step on to it and start to walk around, you find that it actually feels pretty good.
Last but not least we tried the sink and bath tub drain cleaner. I don't know what you call it, but it is just a wire that has this little scrub in the end. You let the scrub fall into your drain while holding on to the wire and when you pull it up again, it will catch the hairs and gunk stuck in your pipe. It was really disgusting. I don't even want to think about the stuff we pulled out of or drain pipe. There was not only hair, but gooey stuff,  and brown dirt like stuff that smelled horrible. Yuck!
The Vancouver Home + Design Show was a really interesting place, it displayed a lot of different designs and things that are newly invented or developed. I had a blast wandering around that place, there was just so many cool stuff. The Vancouver Convention Centre have cool shows and events like these all the time, for example I went to a food festival, a car show,  and other cool shows. I think if you have the chance and is able to go, you should definitely participate in more of these kind of events!
